Brief Job Description:

Responsibilities:

Business and Functional Planning

• Actively participate in strategic and operational planning for the organization.
• Plan, develop and implement strategy for company's various functions so as to meet agreed
• organizational performance plans within agreed budgets and timescales.
• Build and assess innovative strategies

Coordination across departments

• Make key capacity utilization decisions across the organization to ensure that deliveries are within planned schedule.
• Oversee development, functional plans and budgets to ensure that objectives are achieved.

Operational Excellence, Quality, and Organization Development

• Ensure compliance to all regulatory, statutory, and quality standard requirements in the organization.
• Build a culture of compliance to safety and health in the organization.
• Proactively identify and take steps towards addressing any issues pertaining to competency building, culture, team-work, succession planning and talent management.

Formulation and Implementation of policies and processes

• Formulate common policies incorporating best practices both from the industry and within company and ensure that minimum service level standards are implemented and standardized processes are followed rigorously

Liaison with other functions and external agencies

• Liaise regularly with other functional/departmental managers external agencies, such as vendors, industry bodies, contractors, government bodies etc
• Manage, measure and review performance, capability and morale of the staff.
• Sanction new infrastructure, technology, resources, capital etc. to support performance improvements from time to time following the delegation of authority as proved by the management
